All of these groups have something powerful and unique to offer you! Not only do they provide direct practice towards relieving anxiety, but they also provide you with the validation and encouragement sometimes needed to make great gains!

Anxiety is not just internal (fear of what is going on inside of your body or your mind), it is also often interpersonal (fear of how others might perceive or respond to you). A large part of our mental health is based on the quality of our relationships and social connections.

Our groups can benefit you in a number of ways:

  • You will learn and practice skills that reduce anxiety.

  • You will practice developing less fearful connections with others.

  • You will have the powerful experience, week to week, of seeing that you are not alone in dealing with anxiety.

  • You will obtain valuable peer support and encouragement.

The April Center for Anxiety Attack Management is committed to helping you remove the destructive barriers of anxiety so that you may lead a calmer, healthier, happier life.
